This job was supposed to be easy. A show of force and no shots actually fired. That all went to hell quickly when HYDRA agents popped up to complicate things. Now, Nika was in some fancy parking garage in Dublin. She had been separated from Sean for a good five minutes. Lost her comm pack to a ricochet for four. The young Symkarian was crouched behind a concrete column and trying to calm her breathing down.
There were at least three HYDRA goons on this level looking for her. She quickly checked her Daewoo K1A1 to see how many rounds she had left. Not enough even if she switched it to semiautomatic. Nika glanced around for options. There was door 100 meters to her left and behind her, but it was an wide open area to run through. Which meant the HYDRA feebs would have easy shots at her. Nika huffed and stared at the frosted glass less than 10 meters away from her.
She hoped that didn't lead out of the parking structure as she lifted her assault rifle and fired a spray of bullets into it. By the time her gun clicked empty, Nika was running toward the shattered glass because she just signaled those searching HYDRA agents where she was. She went through the opening and a few steps out from view before pulling up short. She tossed the empty assault rifle toward the enclosed stairwell, to make sounds like she was rushing in that direction. She crouched down and turned to face the opening with shattered glass around it. Nika quietly brought out her pistol and waited for the green-masked goons to come chasing after her.
